I took a single point off the rating because of the driver issue. I'm beginning to bog it up with all the stuff I have on my XP SP2, when I'm able to test with just as much software, I'll be able to render a more truthful result. I still don't have drivers for my peripherals however (Cam, Remote, TV Card, AIO Printer), but that stuff isn't essential in an evaluation. All my necessary hardware components were detected ok, and most that required drivers, I was able to locate at the makers websites. Personally I've not had any major problems with it. Don't REPLACE your OS with it - it's for testing only so my recommendation would be to either put it on another hard drive or another partition and put on some multi-boot software, or to run MS Virtual PC and play with it there. Don't be scared.just know that this IS a Demo and not a program 'waiting' to be activated. Um.yes, DEMOs are time limited, so what? It's fully functional and fits it's purpose as a BETA TEST.ģ.
